A downloadable mod

Sorry taking long to upload this one. But i realized rather late that this project wasn't uploaded anywhere than ZDoom. So now i'll post it here.

It was created in the same day as my Disruptor Texture pack; both threads have 10 minutes apart.

While doing some things and editing scripts for my "Nightshift" mod, i added some ambient sounds that played at random, just like in the original mod that inspired it, Harder Event.

However, the ambient sounds would sometimes lag and freeze the game, maybe because many played at random or just because my PC couldn't handle it. So instead of integrating them with the game, i decided to make it as a separate patch, and players wouldn't be prejudiced by the lags and therefore, gameplay could run smoothly.

This patch does nothing more than play some random ambient sounds and add a "machinery" sound in the distance, to give the scenarios a more natural feel. I had this idea after playing the BD Map enhancer and noticing that some parts of the map had their own sounds. So recycled the same Rat script from Nightshift and added sounds of my choice.

Install instructions

You'll need a sourceport such as LZDoom or GZDoom to play this file. I also recommend looking at launchers like ZDL or Ace Doom Launcher to combine this with other mods.
